Besides Vaccinosis, the other driving force behind increased anxiety in pets ( and humans too) is the more wide spread and increasing exposure to electromagnetic frequencies and its effects. One call hardly go anywhere nowadays to escape the invisible fields around us; cell phone radiation, WiFi routers in rooms and overhead on street corners and large towers of 4 & 5 g. Read The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life by Arthur Firstenberg. I strongly recommend it to open your eyes to what we are all bathing in everyday. Anxiety is one of the first reported and documented side effects from the early days.
FOR ANYONE WHOSE DOG HAS TERRIBLE ITCHING; My 60 lb American Bulldog unceasingly, day and night, chewed his wrist for nearly 2 years right down to where you could see the white bone. Vets prescribed meds (various) and soaps but none worked.
UNTIL THIS: We completely stopped feeding kibble with CHICKEN listed as an ingredient. It seems to me the huge doses of antibiotics the poor chickens are force fed are the cause of an awful allergy in some dogs. (We have 12 dogs, and took them off chicken based foods too).
The problem was solved 100 percent, and has never come back. We have used dog foods since that do not have chicken or beef (we use venison, or buffalo).
Taste of the Wild, High Prairie is what we have used ever since.
Nice, Kate! And, I agree, advanced animal abuse in the poultry industry. Sometime, if you’re game, it might be worth trying a naturally pasture raised source of chicken and see if any itch returns. My hunch? It won’t.
Kinda like dairy from the farmer you know (raw) vs dairy from a 5K cow factory farm in California, then pasteurized and homogenized on top of that. Totally different product.
Good. Please will you let me know how your bulldog does? It may take a couple of weeks or more for his system to clear out the stuff that is making him sick, so dont give up if it doesnt seem to work immediately. My results were so completely successful that I do think that for Champ it was exactly the answer to the problem.
Be sure you leave out beef (has loads of hormones and anti biotics ) and leave out all other "domestic" animals (ditto). It used to be that lamb was less hormone and anti biotic loaded, but am told this is no longer the case. The only things I believe may help you are deer, and at least some buffalo (although now various people are selling buffalo raised on ranches (which may also have anti biotics -- not sure, but possibly so). Your best bet may be to severely restrict your bulldog's intake (absolutely no "treats, ever, which have god knows what in them). For treats, give a couple of kibbles. Taste of the Wild (High Prairie type) worked, and I have never changed since.
I also cook beef liver every two weeks for the dogs. You can cut it with scissors when it is cooked, into small pieces (good for treats, and nutritious -- but you may want to wait for a couple of months, and try ONLY the new pollutant-free kibble long enough to see if it works Then if all is well, give a few bits of liver and see if it is ok. It does come from beef cattle, but for some reason it has not triggered allergies, at least for me.
The other thing I give is whole milk yoghurt. And also capsules every couple of weeks of pro biotic/pre biotic. Use the capsules, which must be refrigeratedded pro biotics. It has to be capsules or the digestion system digests the active ingredient before it can reach the intestines, where it has to be to function. I use Natural Factors capsules, (buy online, or in refrigerated case at grocery store)
Re: Apoquel. I am aware of its cancer promoting properties and I don't doubt that there may be more side effects. So thank you for reporting on that. In recent years I was assured by 2 different vets that Apoquel was 100% safe and effective, NO side effects— and I was naive enough to have believed that. Well, long story short, it's 2025 and I am not naive anymore.
As far as a person suffering from sudden onset allergic reactions to their dog that happens to be taking Apoquel, well, excuse me, but I would sooner look to the covid jabs as the culprit here. Um, weren't those Emergency Use Authorized with no long-term studies, and supposed to do something kinda newfangled, using the mRNA platform, to a person's immune system?
Those who are unaware of the covid jabs' avalanche of "adverse events" might want to have a look at the Pfizer documents and the testimonies of death and injury on react19.org before blaming a person's allergies to their dog taking Apoquel.
"Weird," "freak," "baffled"— I hear those terms a lot to describe deaths and injuries of late— all for people who happen to have taken covid jabs. Among those of us with some awareness of the adverse events to the covid jabs, "doctors are baffled" has become a running joke.
Of note, the Pfizer 5.3.6 document: Cumulative Analysis of Post-Authorization Adverse Event Reports of PF-07302048 (BNT162B2) Received Through 28-Feb-2021
It's like this: There's a large round muddy spot on my carpet and there's an elephant that's been wandering around in the mud out back, so, I'm supposed to blame the poodle?
"New data from Trupanion reveals a sharp rise in anxiety-related health claims among dogs and cats over the past six years. Since 2019, these claims have increased by 93 percent nationally, with some states—such as Louisiana, Washington, and North Carolina—seeing spikes of 129 percent to 150 percent.”
I think it's well founded that our pets 'carry our stress' for us.
Short story. Had an 10 ish year old rescue we fed good kibble (Canva) but had peviously used raw and we ended up moving from TN to Florida. Hadn't been to the vet for anything. During that time we noticed that he was losing his hair. After a few weeks he didn't get better. He started to lose more hair and his skin was turning black. We tried (almost) everything. I had to pull black scales off his eyes, it was pretty gross. Took him to a local vet and it was pronounced to us "Yeah, every dog that comes down here from the North gets allergies." Hmm, that was odd cause this started (mildly) in TN. We took his sample (he wanted to do Apoquel or it's cousin the shot). THEN as a last resort, since we thought we were feeding him right, we changed his food. Went back to Primal Rabbit raw food and within three weeks he was back to his normal skin and his silky coat. They must have changed the recipe for the Canva because he had been on that for years. No allergies!! BE SKEPTICAL!
Postponing vaccines may not work as a reason to get a vet to do a spay surgery without the shots... I told a local vet that the cat I adopted was up to date on shots but the prior owners did not keep records. The vet refused to do the spay surgery without an immediate rabies shot, even if it was a duplicate, because I could not provide proof that the cat had been vaccinated. This was a small country vet too, not a "big box" vet hospital.
I would try to schedule an appointment with one of the low-cost spay-neuter programs, as their priorities are different from the veterinarians. They, in our area, will just do the surgery. But the waiting list can be many weeks. Just an alternative for those it could work for.
"Don't give me them negative waves, Moriarty!" [Free bonus point for naming the movie ;-) ]
The White Noise site - woo-hoo! Thanks. I have the calming sound of waves, taking me mid ocean.
This week's Vital Animal News is packed with good stuff, Doc!
I shall explore the homeopathic nurturing so I have Vital Rose bushes too. They were all traumatized in the big freezes we had 3 or so years back when I was in Austin - coated in ice. I have coaxed 4 back to life, but one is a holdout - no roses for my darling wife from that one. And the mole solution.
We don’t hate Pharma enough. We won’t take our pets to the vet anymore. The last time, she never even put her hand on Oliver to reassure him. While we were there all she wanted was to push me into vaccinating him with the rabies vaccine. We were there for another reason, not vaccines. I refused to submit. On our way out, I saw a notice that she will not euthanize pets who haven’t seen her for three years. The woman is a Dr. Mengele.
After reading this post I was so angry that I forgot that what I actually wanted to say was that several weeks ago, our Malinois had a lick sore. No vet needed. I gave her 12mg tablets of ivermectin for 3 days. Problem solved. I hate to think what the vet would have done.
Interesting. Little publicized fact: IVM (and FenBen) have negative effects on the microbiome, so keep some ferments going in. Kefir a great source, if you make it fresh at home.
I thought I saw mentioned a special on Venjenz products that was good through July 7. I returned to this post to find the discount code but was unable to locate the information I thought was here. Am I overlooking it or an I looking in the wrong place?
“Hormone” spay? Not heard of it. If you send a good link, I’ll explore it. Bottom line: we WANT intact gonadal hormones. Most of the issues with neutering are a result of taking them away, and often times, way too soon.
Vaccine-associated feline sarcoma: current perspectives
"Abstract
Feline injection site sarcomas (FISS; also known as vaccine-associated sarcomas) have been recognized for >20 years. Although uncommon, these tumors are iatrogenic, and vaccination against rabies and feline leukemia virus is perhaps the most common inciting cause. The exact etiopathogenesis is unknown, but it is widely accepted that inflammation induced by vaccines or other injections likely plays a critical role in tumor development. Injection site sarcomas are extremely locally invasive. Multimodal therapy, incorporating combinations of surgery, radiation therapy, and sometimes chemotherapy or immunotherapy, is recommended. However, tumor recurrences are common even with aggressive treatment, and many cats with FISS ultimately succumb to this devastating disease. "
Wouldn't it be great if Vets felt free to discuss the risks and give owners actual dominion over their loved ones?
Vs. Lobbyists running right over the top of the public with pHARMa $$ to legislate laws requiring annual jabs.
Recommendation if pet needs to be 'revaccinated' due to State Law.
Consider 'titration' testing to prove that Abx titre is sufficient to prove effectiveness.
Best place I've heard to do this is at a Vet School/College where they practice this (at a much lower expense) than through private businesses (that are 'forced' to have much higher prices than the cost of the annual re-jab).
Some good points. Interestingly, the homeopaths of old, way back in smallpox days, pointed out the link between vaccination and cancer.
As to rabies titers, there’s only one place in No. America that runs them all: Kansas State Vet Diagnostic Lab. So, you can save a bundle by making sure that’s where your samples will go, and directly. If your vet uses an outside lab(Antech, Idexx, etc), the rabies titer, which the KS lab charges ~ $50 for, will cost you hundreds of bucks.
Finally, it’d be pretty rare to have a one year rabies law. Most states, if they have a law, they demand 3 year repeats. Based on assumption, not science.

You make two great points I didn't think of. Thanks! Yes, on both your observations.
Thank you for posting. I will cut chicken out of my bulldog’s diet and see if it helps.

No wonder they're a mess.
We handed it right off to them.

Nice! And a fair number of skin afflicted dogs will do this, just from making the jump from kibble to raw.

Good for you, Mary Ann! Those who practice this way need to “feel” it in their bottom line. Brava!

It makes perfect sense since we are all energetic beings and frequencies affect our cells.

True, 7th was final day. You ,can see if they’ll let you in late at support@venjenz.com. Tell I sent you…
Thank you, I have reached out. I will probably try the products either way but the discount would be helpful.
Thank you for all of your good information
Great informative articles. Enjoy the pics. Have a question: What is your opinion on the non surgical hormone spay & neuter procedure?

It's a well known fact that there's an association between vaccines and cancer.

I believe you are correct about the 3 year rabies booster. Cheaper than cancer to have titration testing done.
Yeah, trouble is, not every municipality/state/etc. will accept titer results in lieu of a shot.
