In Massachusetts you will lose your animal if they are not vaccinated against rabies. My cat started out as a feral foster so I'm pretty sure she's been vaccinated. I don't know what happened to her in the two first years of her life but after six years with me, she's still skittish with humans including me. Progress has been made but very slowly. I'm in my 80's and want to move to another city to be closer to my daughter, but the cat won't cooperate to get into her carrier so I can take her to the vet so I can get a sedative to get her on the plane. It anyone reading this very interesting site has any positive suggestions, I'd welcome them.
Thank you. I've already tried low dose xanax and that didn't work - spent 3 hours triying to get her in the carrier along with help from my daughter. The cat won. And I just sat down and fell asleep!
We need more like you both. Thank you.
Dr. Falconer, You're a Good Man doing Great Work. I appreciate your stack.

possibly cbd oil? i use it to calm my cat when we have to travel (in the car). It makes her sleepy.
It doesn't work for her for vet anxiety so don't know if it will help your cat but it might
